1. Content

The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. At times we might have to change content without notice.

2. Age Restriction

We cannot and will not sell intoxicating substances to anyone who is not 18 years old or over. This is a legal requirement. By placing an order with Champagne Vintage you are confirming that you are at least 18 years old. Anyone attempting to purchase alcohol under the age of 18 may be prosecuted.

Please note that the recipient of any gift from our range of products must be over 18 years old.

If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient they will request ID. If doubt still remains they are not permitted to leave the consignment.

3. Trading Hours/Office hours

Our business hours and office hours for accepting telephone calls are Monday to Friday, 10am until 5:00pm (Closed UK Bank Holidays). You can of course place an order via the website at any time, but please note orders will only be processed by Champagne Vintage on the next working day, as defined above.

4. How to order

We are an internet trader therefore we encourage you to place orders through our online payment system (and it is simpler for you).

Any problems please email info@champagnevintage.co.uk

5. Delivery

Delivery is only available within the UK mainland.  Please remember to indicate the delivery address if different from the billing address.

While we make every effort to ensure your order is delivered in the stated time frame we are not liable if we fail to do so in part or full due to circumstances beyond our control.

6. Handling

We accept your order as an offer to purchase goods from us. The contract between us comes into existence once we accept your order and dispatch the goods to you.

We reserve the right to cancel orders we are unable to fulfill for any reason, but we will contact you to explain and you will receive a full refund if you have already paid.

The goods are ours until we receive payment in full. We do not normally dispatch until such time as payment is received in full.

If we are unable to fulfil your order due to stock unavailability we will do our best to contact you via the contact details you have left, either by email or telephone or both. For this reason please ensure the details you leave are accurate. If we are unable to contact you we reserve the right to substitute your order with a similar product. If we are unable to supply a particular item or appropriate substitute we will not be liable to you, except to ensure you are not charged for the item.

Please check your goods as soon as possible after delivery and notify us of any problems immediately but at the latest within 48hours of receiving the goods.

In the unlikely event of breakages, please retain the entire consignment as our carrier will need to collect the complete case including the damaged contents. If the entire contents are not returned, we are unable to process a refund.

7. Prices and Payment

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and may be per bottle or per case (equivalent to 6x 75cl bottles), as marked. The prices include Duty and Value Added Tax, unless otherwise specified.

With the exception of our gift range and single bottles, standard delivery charges are included in the price.

We accept payment by debit and credit cards.

We reserve the right to change our prices as they are subject to currency and market fluctuations and also changes in VAT and duty. Please refer to our website for all current prices.

Discounts are offered on goods that have been previously advertised on our website for at least 28 days out of the previous 6 months at non discounted prices.

By giving us your credit card details you are confirming to us that you are the cardholder or have the cardholders permission to place an order.

We use SagePay to securely manage our transactions and we do not retain any credit card details whatsoever.

8. Security

Please do not be concerned about shopping on the web. We use a secure server with state-of-the-art encryption and secure sockets layer (SSL) technology for the transfer of credit card information. Additionally we have security measures in place to protect our customer database and access to this database is restricted internally.

For your protection and peace of mind we do not hold any records of your credit card details, our system will request these each time you place an order. This ensures that your card details are not misused.

It is your responsibility to protect any passwords from being disclosed to any third party.

9. Warranties / limitation of liability

We warrant that the goods we deliver will be satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies and errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
